Terms of Use — Metronome IKI

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Metronome IKI mobile application (the “App”) provided by Iki Records (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using Metronome IKI you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. License

We grant you a non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the App on devices associated with your Apple ID, solely for your personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

3. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

Metronome IKI offers a free tier and a Pro tier accessible via:

• Monthly subscription: auto-renewing, €0.99/month
• Yearly subscription: auto-renewing, €4.99/year

Billing

All purchases are processed by Apple. Payment is charged to your Apple ID.

Auto-renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the price of the selected plan unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged for the renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

Managing or canceling

You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds are issued by us. For refund requests, contact Apple Support.

Trial / introductory offers

If we offer a free trial or introductory offer, it will be clearly labelled in the paywall. Unused portions of a free trial will be forfeited if you purchase before the trial ends.

Restore purchases

The App provides a “Restore Purchases” action to re-sync entitlements across devices using the same Apple ID.

4. Content and Ownership

• The App, its code, graphics, sound files, sample patterns, and presets are owned by Iki Records and protected by intellectual-property laws.
• User-created content (arrangements, playlists, scenes, custom sounds) remains yours. You retain all rights. This content is stored locally on your device; we never claim ownership.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Circumvent the subscription / licensing system.
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Submit malicious images to the Scan AI feature intended to exploit Google Gemini.

6. Third-Party Services

Metronome IKI uses third-party services (Apple StoreKit for billing, Google Gemini via Supabase for Scan AI). Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms:

7. Disclaimers

The App is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Scan AI feature will correctly interpret every score; always verify extracted BPM and time signatures before performance.

We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the App.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the App (including active subscriptions) if you violate these Terms. Your local data remains on your device.

You may terminate your use at any time by deleting the App. Subscription cancellation is handled via Apple (see §3).

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated in release notes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.
